Smoke Patch 9.6.0 (X
version) release for PES 2017, please read the patch information before
downloading or installing smoke patch.
This version have a reworked system files, it is important to start a NEW MASTER LEAGUE and BAL after installing this version, future versions will be based on this system files so no need to start new after this version.
it is necessary to mention that not all aspects of the patch is tested, since the database is converted from X version there might be some abnormalities that was not detected, but if any serious issue is reported it will be fixed in later updates.

Kits:
this version shares the same kits used for smoke patch for pes 2018, as we mentioned before, we give priority to apply real kits for teams instead of fake kits, we update kits for major clubs but not all teams have the kits of the current season, in each version we update more kits, special thanks to anyone who create updated kits and sent to us.
Teams:
the teams in this version are the same as in smoke patch for pes 2018, you can check the teams list here, more teams will be added in pes 2018 and 2017, all the teams are licenced in the patch, with the exception of two teams (pes united and we united) these two teams are left untouched for user customization.
all teams have correct attributes (coach, squads, stadium, ...)
the old league switcher will not work in this patch, will make new one when its done for patch 2018.
Players:
players stats and attributes are the latest konami stats of pes 2018, no fake players in the game (except in the two modifiable teams).
the face pack is the same as last version, no additional faces has been added, please note that we do not create faces but we add from pes-stars, also note that players in this version does not match exactly the same ID as in previous version, to add other faces refer to the new X database at the website, information tab.
Stadiums:
the same stadiums used in previous smoke patch is used now, with some minor enhancements and corrections.
the problem of stadium names in ML and BAL modes is resolved, all teams shows correct stadium name in all modes (this fix works with steam version only).
for low quality settings users, the same turf switcher can be used with this version.
Boots, Gloves and Balls:
same boots, gloves and balls used in this version, we might make a new packs in the future, meanwhile if you want to add a pack made by others you can replace the CPK files (without changing the dpfilelist)
Addons:
due to the major structural changes in the patch, not all smoke addons will work in this version, we will make new ones for both versions (pes 2017-pes 2018)
the turf switcher works fine and all smk extra slots system are also the same.
Installation:
- Extract patch files
download all parts and be sure all are completed, extract only part one the rest will be extracted automatically, don't move any of the installation files or folders.
- Run Setupsmoke9.6x.exe
run the installer and choose PES 2017 installation folder, the patch must be installed in the same game folder, be sure you don't get errors and that the installer finished successfully.
NOTES:
- new ML and BAL modes are required after installing patch 9.6.
- it is recommended to delete all files inside the download folder of the game before installing the patch to free up some disk space.
- no previous versions required, only the game and this version.
- do not use old edit00000 files (using older or other edit files will cause bugs).
- this patch is made to focus on offline modes, online feature will not find opponents due the difference between the patch system files and the original game.
